Core truths

THE CHAMPION

Jesus didn't just show us how to be good; He actually fought the battle for us when we were too weak.

THE CHAMPION'S SWORD BADGE

Awarded for trusting Jesus as your Champion and using God's Word to fight lies.

TRUTH

Jesus fought the Tempter's lies with the greatest weapon of all: the truth of God's Word.

Why it matters

  • Flips the script from “try harder to be good” to “trust the Champion who already won for you.”
  • Teaches children that the Bible isn't just a book of rules—it's our ultimate defense against lies.
  • Comforts kids with the truth that Jesus understands exactly what it feels like to be weak and tempted.

Let's talk and pray

Talk

Jesus was so hungry He probably wanted to turn rocks into bread! What weapon did He use to fight the lies? (God's Word).

Pray

Dear God, thank You that Jesus is my strong Champion. When I am tempted to make a bad choice, help me remember Your truth. Amen.
